Omar Abdullah, a leader of the National Conference, expressed concern over the impact of the conflict in the Middle East on Indians working in the region. He called for the war to stop and for the United Nations to take action. Abdullah criticized the lack of attention given to the UN’s statements on the humanitarian crisis in Gaza.
