The Congress leadership held a meeting to discuss the second list of candidates for the Telangana assembly polls. Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge chaired the meeting, which was attended by Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, and other party members. So far, the Congress has announced 55 candidates for the assembly polls. Kharge expressed confidence that the Congress will bring about change in Telangana and criticized other parties for their alleged corruption. The Congress also replaced four candidates for the Madhya Pradesh assembly polls.
