Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi, a senior BJP leader, criticized the alliance between the INDIA bloc partners, stating that while they claim to be friends in Delhi, they are actually competing against each other in the states. Naqvi accused the Congress of being a “syndicate of swindlers” and selling “tools of betrayal”, adding that the opposition’s temporary arrangement will not be able to overcome the popularity and credibility of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
