Rajeev Chandrasekhar raises India-China war to attack Congress for ‘humiliating’ chapter
BJP leader and Union minister Rajeev Chandrasekhar criticized the Indian political leadership of the 1960s for the India-China war in 1962. He blamed the "Hindi-Chini bhai bhai" policy of Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru and Defence Minister Krishna Menon for the conflict and the loss of Indian land. Chandrasekhar emphasized the sacrifices made by Indian armed forces and the damage caused to their morale. He pledged to remind people of the consequences of weak leadership and expressed confidence that Prime Minister Narendra Modi's "New India" would prevent such incidents in the future.
