While reacting to Moitra’s response to the Ethics Committee of Parliament, in which she reportedly demanded cross-examining businessman Darshan Hiranandani, the BJP MP said that, as per rules, witnesses are protected from “court-kachehri’ (legal proceedings)”. Further taking a swipe at TMC MP over what appeared to be a typo, he said Moitra was so “intoxicated with Dubai” that she misspelled his name in the letter as ‘Dubai’ instead of ‘Dubey’.
