The Karnataka government and the opposition BJP are embroiled in a dispute over allegations of poaching. Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar has warned party MLAs not to make any statements, threatening to serve them notices if they do. The BJP, in response to the poaching allegations, mentioned a power struggle within the ruling party for the post of Chief Minister, rather than needing to engage in any “Operation Kamala.”
