The architecture of the memorial is inspired by the Lincoln Memorial in Washington DC which honours former US president Abraham Lincoln. The foundation stone of the memorial will be laid down by Akhilesh Yadav on November 22- MSY’s birth anniversary and he said the party will seek to get it built by 2027- the year the state will see its next assembly elections.
