Authorities in Dharashiv district of Maharashtra have initiated the distribution of Kunbi caste certificates to eligible Maratha community members, enabling their inclusion in the Other Backward Classes (OBC) category. The first certificate was given to Sumit Mane from Kari village in the district by District Collector Sachin Ombase.
