Prime Minister Narendra Modi delivered a scathing critique of the Congress party on Tuesday, accusing it of failing to curb Naxalism in Chhattisgarh and suggesting that whenever the party assumes power at the Centre, Naxalites and terrorists become emboldened. Speaking at a rally in Surajpur district of Chhattisgarh, Modi also took aim at Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel regarding the alleged Mahadev betting app scandal, using the slogan “30 take kakka, khule aam satta” (30 per cent commission government, openly operating betting).
