Cash-for-Query case: Matter of national security if our systems become vulnerable, says Aparajita Sarangi, member Ethics Committee
Aparajita Sarangi, a member of the Ethics Committee investigating the 'Cash-for-Query' scandal involving Trinamool Congress MP Mahua Moitra, stressed the matter's national security implications. Sarangi stated that sending Moitra's suspension application to the Lok Sabha Speaker was decided by a 6-4 vote. She clarified that Dubai-based businessman Hiranandani wouldn't undergo cross-examination, citing his submitted affidavit.
