A Raja, former Union Minister of the Democratic Party of India (DMK), has filed a counter affidavit against a writ of quo warranto filed against him for his speech on Sanatana Dharma. Raja argued that the allegations made against him were vague and that his views and opinions were his own. He argued that it was his duty as a public servant to criticize and condemn “illegal practices” such as inequality based on caste and gender.
