First-time MLA Vijayendra will take over as President of the BJP Karnataka unit on November 15, and the party has organized a workers rally at Bangalore Palace to show his popularity. Vijayendra, the younger son of BJP veteran BS Yediyurappa, is expected to reclaim the support of the dominant Vokkaligas and Lingayats communities in Karnataka.
