Surjewala accused Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao of breaking promises made during the statehood agitation, including providing one job per family and a Rs 3,000 unemployment allowance. Surjewala claimed the TRS-BJP nexus led to job losses and pledged that a Congress government in Telangana would address unemployment by filling government jobs and reforming the state’s Public Service Commission.
