TMC MP Mahua Moitra is facing allegations of taking bribes for questioning in Parliament at the behest of businessman Darshan Hiranandani. The party’s chief, Mamata Banerjee, has said plans to expel her from Parliament would help her become more popular ahead of the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.
