From the Sensex pack, NTPC, Power Grid, M&M, UltraTech Cement, and Sun Pharma opened higher, while HUL, HCL Tech, Tata Motors, and Bharti Airtel opened lower. Amongst sectors, Nifty Pharma, Metal and PSU Bank were major gainers, while auto and IT opened flat.
