Maharashtra minister Bhujbal wants Shinde panel ‘disbanded’, says it has ‘overstepped its mandate’
On Monday, Chhagan Bhujbal, a minister from the Nationalist Congress Party, called for the dissolution of the Justice Shinde Committee, established to expedite Maratha community reservation. Bhujbal argued that the committee exceeded its mandate by attempting to universally designate OBC status to the entire Maratha community in the state, contrary to the Cabinet's initial agreement.
