Sensex, Nifty, Share Prices LIVE: Asian markets witnessed varied performances as the yen’s strength affected trading. Japan’s stocks, notably the Nikkei 225 index, stumbled by 0.40 per cent due to the yen’s surge against the dollar, while the broader Topix index also declined by 0.49 per cent. Conversely, Australia’s S&P ASX 200 index saw a 0.42 per cent rise. The early Asian trading showcased the dollar trading at 146.78 yen.
