Former Mumbai Mayor Datta Dalvi’s car was vandalized by unidentified individuals following his arrest. Dalvi was arrested for allegedly abusing Chief Minister Eknath Shinde during a speech at a Uddhav Thackeray group event. He faces charges under sections 153 and 505 of the Indian Penal Code. After Dalvi’s arrest, four unidentified men damaged his car in Mumbai.
