A lot of things work, otherwise they wouldn’t been known. From HFT to deep value investing, everything has a place in the market, or these different things are what market is. Depending upon things like ability, psychology, temperament, capital, time frame, expectation, which differ from person to person, money can be made in many ways. Some things are relatively easy to learn than others, and some things may work in only certain environments.
There are many traders in US, they post a lot of videos on YouTube, there are also podcast channels which interview traders. Market Wizards book by Jack Schwager can be a good starting point.
