Sensex, Nifty, Share Prices LIVE: Global stock markets, particularly in Japan, South Korea, and Australia, started on a downward trajectory in response to Wall Street’s recent declines, all preceding the upcoming release of critical US jobs data. The Nikkei 225 index fell by 1.03%, the Topix index slipped 0.47%, South Korea’s KOSPI dropped 0.38%, and Australia’s S&P ASX200 saw an 0.85% decline. On Wall Street, profit-taking led to decreases, with the Dow Jones slipping by 0.1%, the S&P 500 by 0.5%, and the Nasdaq by 0.8%. Meanwhile, in the energy market, crude oil stabilised following a three-day downturn, with West Texas Intermediate hovering above $73 a barrel and Brent nearing $78.
