The Points you highlighted are related to corporate actions done by the Kirloskar group after taking over ISMT from Taneja’s leadership.Post those actions, I got interested in ISMT and read the ‘Letters to the shareholders’ by Salil Taneja to understand the business characteristics.
Salil’s name came up in TAAL story, prompting me to reread ISMT’s shareholders letters. Considering the transformation oriented communications in ISMT that never materialized and measured communications in TAAL, I felt that TAAL’s ongoing tailwind were created by the ex-Hands on leader. ISMT’s business has sprung back to life under the new promoter. Hence, asked for opinion about the TAAL’s leadership.
