The lower house of Parliament passed a resolution to expel Trinamool Congress MP Mahua Moitra for ‘unethical conduct.’ The Ethics Committee’s report recommended her expulsion from the Lok Sabha in the “cash-for-query” case and called for a government inquiry into her conduct, terming it “highly objectionable, unethical, heinous, and criminal.”
