The Supreme Court is set to pronounce its verdict on the constitutional validity of the Centre’s decision to abrogate Article 370, which gave special status to the erstwhile state of Jammu and Kashmir. Several parties in Jammu and Kashmir expressed hope that the provision will be restored, with authorities making “adequate” security arrangements.
