Sensex, Nifty, Share Prices LIVE: Asian stocks opened robustly on Wednesday, buoyed by a recent U.S. market peak despite inflation data having little impact on expectations for a Federal Reserve rate cut. The consumer price index edged up by 0.1% in November, following October’s stagnation. Since March 2022, the Fed has increased its policy rate by 525 basis points to the current 5.25%-5.50% range. Market movements showed Japan’s Nikkei 225 climbing 0.65%, while South Korea’s KOSPI fell by 0.45%. Gold prices steadied at $1,980.39 per ounce after initially rising 0.5% due to unexpected U.S. consumer price hikes in November.
