Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Uddhav Thackeray expressed concern over the redevelopment of Dharavi, calling it detrimental to Mumbai and Maharashtra. Thackeray dismissed the BJP’s label of their protest march as a “settlement morcha” and accused the government of favoring the Adani Group in the ambitious project. He asserted that decisions like Dharavi’s redevelopment are adverse for the region.
