The campaign aims to empower the party for a more equitable India. Kharge highlighted the unique nature of this fundraising effort, citing Mahatma Gandhi’s precedent during the freedom struggle. The initiative coincides with the completion of 138 years by the Congress party, offering donation options of Rs 138, Rs 1,380, or Rs 13,800.
