On Tuesday, an additional 49 Members of Parliament (MPs) in Lok Sabha, including Farooq Abdullah, Shashi Tharoor, and Manish Tewari, were suspended for ‘disrupting proceedings’. The suspension followed Monday’s action against 33 MPs. Opposition members persisted in their protests, leading to the adjournment of proceedings despite warnings from Speaker Om Birla.
