The Samyukta Kisan Morcha (SKM) announced plans to organize a nationwide convention in Punjab in January 2024 to discuss and formulate an action plan for their demands, including a legal guarantee of Minimum Support Price (MSP) for all crops, addressing the debt trap, and opposing the privatization of electricity. The All-India Farmers Convention aims to deliberate on alternative policies to tackle the agrarian crisis and decide on whether to escalate the ongoing farmers’ struggle.
