In his reply to the Chairman’s letter, Kharge not only justified the Opposition demand for the Home Minister’s statement in the House on security breach but also asserted that the mass suspension of Opposition MPs “is detrimental to the core principle of Parliamentary democracy”. Kharge, however, accepted the Chairman’s invite to him for a discussion but with the hope that the latter will “accommodate the Opposition’s concerns”.
