The Karnataka government, led by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, officially launched the unemployment assistance scheme “Yuva Nidhi,” fulfilling the last of the Congress party’s pre-poll guarantees. The scheme promises monetary assistance to graduates and diploma holders, providing financial support for a period of two years or until they find employment or become self-employed.
