In a recent development, Mehbooba Mufti, the leader of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), has appealed to Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha and Defence Minister Rajnath Singh for the provision of a compensation amounting to 50 lakh rupees to the individuals who reportedly lost their lives during the police investigation that followed a terror attack in Poonch last week.
