At least 250 workers or local leaders belonging to these communities will be identified along with 5 social workers who will together conduct these caste-sammelans. Narendra Kashyap, president of the UP BJP OBC wing said there are 79 castes in the central list of OBCs for UP, however, in each district, only 10-20 castes are found and therefore it is required that at least 10 such caste meets are organised in each district.
