‘Odisha for Odias’: Congress’s new slogan ahead of elections
Congress leader Ajoy Kumar accused the ruling BJD and opposition BJP of undermining Odisha's self-esteem by involving "outsiders" in the state's affairs. He claimed that "outsiders" were gaining more influence in politics, economy, and bureaucracy, while Odias were losing importance. Kumar alleged that outsiders had been awarded government contracts worth Rs 35,000 crore, and criticized the absence of local contractors.
