On Monday, Bloomberg reported that Sony Group is looking at calling off the $10-billion merger deal with Zee, citing regulatory issues that Punit Goenka is entangled in. The news report upset D-Street investors and saw Zee shares plunging as much as 14% in early trade and hit an over two-month low of Rs 240.30.
