Milind Deora, after joining Shiv Sena, indirectly criticized Congress leadership, stating that the party has changed from the times when Manmohan Singh initiated economic reforms. He mentioned that the current Congress is abusing industrialists and businessmen, labeling them as anti-nationals. Deora praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah for their vision of national development.
