Former Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai has alleged that efforts have been made to cover up a moral policing incident in Haveri. The incident involved an interfaith couple who were assaulted by a group of six people in a hotel room in Hangal Taluk, Haveri district on January 8. Two of the accused have already been arrested. A video of the incident has gone viral, shedding light on the heinous act.
