NHPC’s power generation may be affected this year due to the flood disaster in the Teesta basin in Sikkim. The recovery of two out of three damaged projects is in progress. The response to the non-deal roadshow ahead of the OFS was positive, with investors showing interest in the company’s growth. The proposed hikes in ROEs for hydro projects will provide adequate coverage for the risks involved. NHPC plans to commission the Parbati and Subansiri projects in FY25.
