The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) moved the Punjab and Haryana High Court after the Chandigarh mayoral polls were postponed. The administration informed the court that the elections were deferred to February 6 due to the prevailing law and order situation. AAP councillor Kuldeep Kumar, a mayoral candidate, filed a petition seeking the quashing of the order deferring the polls.
