Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has announced a new team of national office-bearers for his party, Janata Dal (United), relieving several Lok Sabha MPs of their positions and promoting K C Tyagi to political advisor. The reshuffle also includes the appointment of Bashistha Narain Singh as vice president and the removal of several general secretaries, including Dhananjay Singh and Harsh Vardhan Singh.
