Prime Minister Narendra Modi proclaimed the advent of ‘Ram Rajya’ in India during the inauguration of the nation’s largest affordable housing scheme in Maharashtra’s Solapur. Modi handed over house keys to beneficiaries of the Ray Nagar Co-operative Society Federation project, aimed at building 30,000 economically weaker section homes. The Prime Minister encouraged occupants to celebrate the consecration of Ayodhya’s Ram mandir by lighting lamps in their new homes on Jan 22.
