Chief Minister N Biren Singh expressed dissatisfaction with the approach of the central forces in addressing the crisis in Manipur. He emphasized that their role extends beyond observation to the protection of lives and property. Singh urged heightened vigilance among state forces in response to the security situation. He also appreciated Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah for their recent assurances. The CM warned those challenging Manipur’s unity and integrity and called for an end to attacks on unarmed civilians. He highlighted the government’s commitment to inclusive development and infrastructure improvement in the hill districts.
