West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee criticized the BJP for politicizing religion before the Lok Sabha elections, accusing them of being “anti-women” for omitting Goddess Sita from their discourse about Lord Ram. Speaking at the TMC’s ‘Sanhati Rally’ during the Ram temple consecration in Ayodhya, Banerjee emphasized Bengal’s role in upholding secularism and inclusiveness in the country.
