West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee’s party, Trinamool Congress (TMC), has announced that it will contest the upcoming Lok Sabha polls in the state alone, citing unreasonable demands and delays in seat-sharing talks with the Congress. TMC sources claim that they offered two seats to the Congress in West Bengal, but the Congress made excessive demands without considering the ground reality.
