Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav expressed satisfaction with the party’s alliance with the Congress in Uttar Pradesh, stating that it is “off to a good start” with 11 strong Lok Sabha seats. Uttar Pradesh sends 80 members to the Lower House of Parliament, and the elections are scheduled for April-May.
