The Congress has stated that constructive seat-sharing discussions are ongoing between senior party leader Ashok Gehlot and Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav. This response came after Yadav mentioned that the alliance with Congress in Uttar Pradesh is off to a good start with 11 strong Lok Sabha seats.
