Union Minister Narayan Rane expressed disagreement with the Maharashtra government’s decision to provide all benefits enjoyed by OBCs to Marathas until they receive reservation. Rane, a former chief minister of the state, stated that this move could encroach on the rights of other backward communities and may lead to unrest in Maharashtra.
