I don’t think it’s a good idea to compare investor returns of India vs USA. I wouldn’t say that accounting frauds are non existent in the US but they are pretty rare. Compared to the Indian listed companies.
So it’s one less risk to worry about for someone investing in the US markets.
Plus the US economy is very dynamic that allows for new companies to boom and new industries to boom, without the companies needing special support from the govt as subsidies and trade barriers for foreign companies.
Overall, investing in India is a very different ball game.
Regarding Cagr returns in India I believe Rakesh Jhunjhunwala has close to highest return in India if the media appearance to be believed.
