The ruling CPI(M) in Kerala criticized Governor Arif Mohammed Khan for adopting the behavior of a “street goon” and neglecting his role as head of state. The party accused Khan of disregarding the Constitution and advised him to act in accordance with the state cabinet’s advice. Tensions between the governor and the CPI(M)-led LDF government have been ongoing.
