The Opposition in India has criticised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for repeatedly attacking the Opposition during the Motion of Thanks on President’s address. Congress MP Shashi Tharoor criticized Modi’s oratory talent but argued that his recent speech was below form. Congress MP Gaurav Gogoi compared Modi’s words to Mallikarjun Kharge’s discussion on the work of UPA in Rajya Sabha, comparing them to Rahul Gandhi’s arrogance.
