On Wednesday, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) presented WhatsApp chat records between former Jharkhand chief minister Hemant Soren and a close associate. Allegedly, these chats involved discussions regarding the transfer and posting of state government officials, with significant sums of money being implicated. The ED made this submission before a special Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) court in Ranchi while presenting the 48-year-old JMM leader at the conclusion of his five-day remand period.
